Welcome Message

Hello, and welcome to WGECO. People make our organization great, so whether you are a prospective member, professor, researcher, staff member, graduate, neighbor, or visitor, your interest and enthusiasm are valued and appreciated.

On this page, I would like to share with you the inspiration behind establishing the World Green Economy Council and the unique value that WGECO can offer you.
Since the industrial revolution, technology has been changing at a rapid pace. In the 21st century, globalization has created enormous pressure on both the corporate and public sector in terms of market reform and privatization, which have resulted in short to medium term contracting in engineering and business. The Earth Summit , Rio was a major UN conference held in Rio de Janeiro from 3 to 14 June 1992. Twenty years after the first global environment conference, the UN sought to help Governments rethink economic development and find ways to halt the destruction of irreplaceable natural resources and pollution of the planet. In 2012, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development was also held in Rio, and is also commonly called Rio+20 or Rio Earth Summit 2012. The Paris Agreement 2015 is an agreement within the UNFCCC dealing with greenhouse gases emissions mitigation, adaptation and finance starting in the year 2020.

In addition to my postgraduate engineering and business education, I spent over a decade of my consulting life studying the works of the world’s leading engineering business guide. I made sure that I took notes from every success and failure that I came across, be it mine or someone else’s. I continued… until I built what I thought was “the ultimate engineering business knowledgebase” of the brightest and the most successful.

After more than a decade of research and experience, I found that industry professionals and companies weren’t satisfied with education system, R&D activities and engineering/ business functions at that moment, which don’t meet the requirements in the working environment. The shortcoming in the education system and market-oriented R&D as well as the wide gap between engineering and business functions, motivated me to form competency assurance committee with several members. The members consist of HR Practitioners, Industry Consultants, Academics and Green Economy Leaders.

We commenced our studies with how to build competent leaders in different industries. Throughout the years, we had been working hard on doing researches and applied the outcomes of the researches in all industries. We gained great success in the research results when we applied. These results encouraged us to create a global network customer-oriented organization for better world. Believing that the green economy activities are the base of different industries & businesses to compete and survive in the globalization era for sustainable future.

These were the inspiration behind the founding of the WGECO: Creating platforms and building networks for Green Economy education & development throughout the World for better sustainable life. However, the WGECO programs and services are non-traditional, responsive to industry needs and market demands with flexible delivery options.

At WGECO, our number one goal is to build the best possible global knowledge transfer network, consisting of the best and brightest experts in each field. All of WGECO members are result-oriented experts who are successful in their own rights. They understand key business drivers, performance metrics, and leverage. Most importantly, they are passionate advocates of the “80:20” rule. Beyond WGECO collective intelligence, probably the most valuable service, we could provide you, is to save you time, efforts and cost needed to advance your career and develop your business.

We wish you success
